TOP FIVE BRUNCH RESTAURANTS IN SCOTTSDALE

I’d like to introduce you to the #brunchsquad. We roam the streets of Scottsdale, Arizona searching for the best pancakes, waffles, and most importantly mimosas to provide our tummies with bliss.

On any given weekend, you can find us out over-indulging because when it comes to brunch, we take food seriously. The more syrup, the better. The more bubbly, the better. And the more crispiness on the bacon edges, the better.

The best breakfast in Scottsdale, the best brunch in Scottsdale, whatever you wanna call it… we’ve found it!

As a team that knows the spots to go, we can’t be greedy.

It’s time to share the ultimate, the greatest, and the top five brunch restaurants in Scottsdale!

But first, follow us!

#1 Scottsdale Brunch: Sugar Jam Bake Shop & Bistro

Gosh, it is tough for us to share this hidden gem. This family-run, five star ratings restaurant started off as a bakery and now it has expanded to a brunch and BBQ hideaway as well. Hidden among the Airpark offices, it’s in a location you’d least expect. But once you step in the door, you are transported to southern bakery heaven.

The people are friendly, the decor is charming, and the food is out of this world. Everything is made to order so expect a little wait, but the food is well worth the wait. Homemade sweet butter, thick crispy bacon, brisket, waffles, and french toast are some of the things you can expect.

But once you’re full to the brim, don’t leave empty handed. You must buy a few baked goods to save for later. It is an absolute must. Our favorite cookie? The peanut butter and jelly cookie. Hands down- the best cookie in the world. We are already regretting sharing this secret brunch spot…. You’re welcome.

#2 Scottsdale Brunch: Hash Kitchen

The Hash Kitchen is the hip place to be on the weekend. Show up at a poppin’ time and you’ll be greeted by beats from a DJ and an upbeat ambiance. The most popular spot here is the bloody mary bar.

There are so many topping options that it looks like a salad bar! If you’re not a bloody fan, then go with the mimosas which are offered in many different flavors. Our favorite- peach.

The food is magnificent and you can’t go wrong with a hash brown dish, hence the name Hash Kitchen. If you have a sweet tooth, the french toast is a ginormous dish and will leave you feeling satisfied with enough food for another meal later.

You snooze, you lose is right. If you snooze too long and get there late, expect a wait or no table at all. This place fills up right away and a wait is expected here. Fact: The OMG! French Toast literally made Steph say “OMG” after she took her first bite out of it. The food speaks for itself. Just try it. You won’t regret it.

This place cooks with a whole lotta soul. There’s nothing plain about the dishes here. They are generous portions and each dish has a little something special. Eat out on the sunny patio or inside with a hometown feel. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. But if you want to try something special, go with one of their pancake dishes: lemon, bacon, apple, raspberry- or one of each! After you eat here, you’ll want to do a little soul searching as to why you haven’t been here before.
